This body of work is a result of the application of compositional
principles.
It is intended that as a result of dividing the space within the
borders, each spatial plane will act as a trigger against another
forcing confrontation
and compliance and illustrating emptiness and/or fullness.
As a result of this method of composition the viewer is provided with
entry and exit points and a place from which to contemplate the contents.
Surface structuring has been aligned with content in that it reflects
and deflects both physically and mentally.
This body of work represents the paintings as places rather than
objects.
