Photographing garments that are empty of the body but filled with connotations that can become suggestive of a figure and gender that may have once been present, garments that represent and create the form of the figure through the different visual qualities within the image – texture, light and colour.
By employing the use of hidden identities when using models adds a subtlety to the images. Leading the viewer on to complete their own reading of the work, creating a connection between the model and viewer by putting the viewer in a possible voyeuristic position.
