Editions
Editions is based on a personal lineage, historical fact re-worked. Each edition operates within strictly defined parameters that insist on compliance of scale, material and history, as dictated by the book of origin. The information presented to the viewer is the re-working of material in a search to find a new language to expand and expose the history already in existence; a language that incorporates women and shifts the 'reading' from a text based experience to visual practice.
Each edition is complete and unique to itself. All the books are related from the first to the last. Each edition can be read as separate or parts of a whole that encompass factors, which both reflect and move beyond the individual self. Due to the ambiguity in this wholeness they become linear narratives that can be seen to connect and traverse time magnifying the continuity and differences, which charaterise both the collective and the individual identity.
